The history of a territory

from Campania:

Like a coffer, the Campania Region preserves natural richness in its fertile lands. Its treasures grow luxurious, becoming excellences which have always been appreciated all over the world for their taste, aroma and flavor. From a rich heritage of indisputable quality grapes, we produce a large and interesting variety of white and red wines, today DOC, DOCG, PGI and IGT.

to the Vesuvian Lands:

In this panorama, we find the grapes of the Vesuvian land, the red and gold, riped by the sun, the mild climate and the fertile “fire” of the ground of the whole Somma-Vesuvio volcanic complex, rich in potassium, phosphorus, iron and silica which give the unique organoleptic characteristics to fruits that have become excellences such as the “Albicocca Vesuviana PGI” or the “Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio PDO” and wines that have conquered the denominations of controlled origin (DOC): “Lacryma Christi del “Vesuvio” and “Vesuvio”. The municipalities located throughout the Vesuvius foothills, in the Vesuvius National Park, are home of vineyards with autochthonous varieties that have always been cultivated in this area.

AN OLD LOVING FARM

Here, the vines that Greeks and Romans already cultivated, and poets and legends quoted comparing them to honey and tears of gods, express themselves in unique, inimitable wines, which still today retain their original root, further enhanced by a constant research and by innovative production techniques that La Cantina del Vulcano and the whole territory are adopting.
A combination of tradition and modernity which makes La Cantina del Vulcano, a winery promoting the development and diffusion of an ancient wine-culture which have been projected into the future for four generations.

The wine productions which reflect the nobility and the peculiarity of the autochthonous grapes, are the result of this spirit, which unifies every day work and passion for the vine and are an identification of the farm.
